Last of the Innocence
Bryce Canyon in the fall of 2001 was indeed the last of the innocence. We set out on our trip down the Rim with plenty of water and real film in my camera. 2001 had been a good year with a fairly solid US budget; the arrival of the new XBox; the first self contained artificial heart; C# is just beginning to take off; and four guys packing the Lower Rim over 26 miles. However all that was about to change with 9/11 only days away.
